Kodak Black’s legal problems are getting smaller and smaller. Nearly two months after the 20-year-old rapper had three charges dismissed, prosecutors have reportedly dropped the remaining felony counts stemming from the January police raid on his Florida home. The Blast reports Kodak was cleared of the marijuana and gun possession charges after he pleaded guilty to two probation violations: driving on a suspended license as well as “associating with people committing crimes.” This was a huge break for Kodak, as it has significantly reduced his sentence in county jail. He was initially facing up to 12 years behind bars before the charges were dropped. The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, says Kodak’s projected release date is Sept. 17; once he is free, Kodak’s probation and community control will also end.
