LaVar's Comments About LiAngelo’s Arrest Didn’t Go Over Well in China by Complex News

LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA teammates were arrested on shoplifting charges in China earlier this week. There’s a chance the players could face up to 10 years in a Chinese prison as a result of their alleged actions. But despite the seriousness of the situation, LiAngelo’s dad LaVar seemed to downplay what happened by saying, “It ain’t that big a deal,” when he was asked about it. And it seems that comment didn’t sit well with some people in China.
