Meek Mill Bail Hearing CANCELED Disappoints Everyone (Kevin Hart, Lebron James, Trippie Redd) Meek Mill bail hearing dropped due to ‘clerical error’ — remains in jail, A legal mix-up led to a mistakenly scheduled bail hearing for imprisoned rapper Meek Mill — who instead remains jailed for a probation violation. “It was a clerical error,” explained Philadelphia courts spokesman Gabriel Roberts to Philly.com after the Nov. 27 session before Common Pleas Court Judge Genece Brinkley was slated — and then scratched. A court clerk saw the bail motion under Mill’s given name of Robert Williams, failed to realize the defendant and rapper were one and the same, and scheduled the hearing. But Brinkley, already under fire for giving Mill a 2-to-4 year prison sentence on the probation violation charge, schedules her own court sessions.
