'Star Trek' Actor Anton Yelchin's Lawsuit Has Been Settled by Complex News

Almost two years after the tragic death of Star Trek actor Anton Yelchin, his parents reached a settlement with Fiat Chrysler in their wrongful death and product liability lawsuit. In 2016, the 27-year-old actor was crushed by his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is made by Fiat Chrysler, while in his driveway. The vehicle rolled down the driveway of his Los Angeles home and pinned him between a mailbox and a security fence. Victor and Irina Yelchin filed a confidential settlement agreement with Fiat Chrysler this week at Los Angeles Superior Court, according to Associated Press. In a statement released on Thursday, Fiat Chrysler said the company is "pleased that we’ve reached an amicable resolution in this matter" and that they "extend our deepest sympathies to the Yelchin family for their tragic loss."
